Dont underestimate the SLA's role in accountability. For companies that have dynamic requirements and no down time can be afforded, make sure you have very tight SLAs. For example, OpSource provides a 100% SLA in the cloud and 100%SLA around production application environments. Now 100% is ideally perfect, it comes down to accountability, yo...

Meru Networks Kicks Off “802.11 to the Nth Degree Live!” Global Tour

Meru Networks, Inc., the pioneer in 802.11n enterprise networking, today announced it kicks off a series of seminars that the company will host across nine cities throughout North America and Europe, focusing on the migration to Wireless LAN 802.11n. With the industry buzz around the recent 802.11n standard ratification, the seminars aim to ensure that enterprise IT departments are equipped to support not only the existing legacy 802.11a/b/g deployments, but also set up to succeed in driving the massive shift to 802.11n. In a recent report conducted by the Dell’Oro Group, 802.11n is expected to account for 80 percent of wireless LAN installations by the year 2012. The roadshow, which will arm enterprise attendees with the knowledge needed to be a part of that installation number, will kick-start on September 28 in Denver, CO.

IT professionals will have an opportunity to gain analyst insight on the .11n adoption and predictions on the Wireless LAN industry from industry luminaries Dr. Vaduvur Bharghavan, Meru founder and chief technology officer, Joe Epstein, Co-Founder and Senior Director of Technology for Meru, and Craig Mathias, principal analyst at Farpoint Group. Attendees will also be able to participate in live demonstrations showcasing the rewards of data, voice, and video applications on a real-time 802.11n network, and speak with regional customers about their own paths to successful .11n deployments. During the 802.11 to the Nth Degree tour, experts will share with participants best practices and cover the following topics:

  • Implications of 802.11n ratification on the enterprise
  • Migrating to wireless LAN technology and real-world 802.11n deployments
  • How to ensure that client and infrastructure products support the new 802.11n ratified standard
  • Utilizing 802.11n to improve your network's security and significantly increase your ROI
  • Why 802.11n represents a much bigger change than previous wireless upgrades
  • Designing a wireless LAN network that matches Ethernet in more than just performance

Lunch and learn sessions will provide attendees with the opportunity to network with their peers and to discuss technical issues related to .11n.

WHO should attend: Meru encourages all businesses and IT executives interested in improving their Wireless LAN networks with the 802.11n benefits to attend.

WHEN & WHERE: The event is free, however space is limited. To register for the event and receive additional dates and location details please visit: http://bit.ly/Ot369.
