Mellanox Advances IBM Networking Solutions with 10 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Cards

Mellanox® Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX); (TASE:MLNX), a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end connectivity solutions for data center servers and storage systems, today announced its ConnectX® EN 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter cards are now available directly from IBM for the company’s IBM System Cluster 1350™ and iDataPlex systems. With industry-leading performance, power efficiency, integration and feature-set, ConnectX-enabled servers and storage systems provide an optimized solution for high-transaction databases, financial services, cloud computing and virtualized server and storage data center environments.

ConnectX EN provides line rate and very low-latency and supports all the stateless offload features, virtualization accelerations, Converged Enhanced Ethernet (CEE) and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). Mellanox ConnectX EN 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapters support a broad array of major operating systems including Windows, Linux, VMware ESX 4.0, Citrix XenServer and FreeBSD.
