The Orange County Great Park concludes its fall 2009 Garden Workshops series with two unique and exciting classes to show you how to grow herbs to add a wonderful taste and aroma to your food and create specialty handmade holiday gifts for those you love. The free workshops are November 14th and November 21st. Parking is $8.00.

The Orange County Great Park Garden Workshop Series, led by the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Orange County, is part of a pilot program designed to introduce community members to the Farm and Food Lab, where they can learn about sustainable home gardening practices for a healthy lifestyle.

The Holiday Season is almost here! Create some wonderful hand-made gifts for those hard-to-buy-for people on your list from your own garden. Join the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Orange County as they demonstrate a selection of garden gift ideas to make for the holidays including a holiday wreath.
