Update: Teleconference Line Added for Credentialed Media Access; Florida Agency for Health Care Administration Launches Electronic Health Records Portal for Medicaid Providers

Senior officials from Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (Agency) will announce the launch of the Florida Medicaid Health Information Network powered by Availity at a press conference on Thursday, November 19. The Florida Medicaid Health Information Network will allow providers treating Medicaid recipients to access 18 months of Medicaid claims history, giving providers more complete information when treating Medicaid recipients.

The press conference will feature a demonstration of the features of the portal that will give providers secure access to claims data for Medicaid recipients. Representatives from Availity, LLC, Duval County Health Department, the Florida Hospital Association and the Florida Medical Association will be there to discuss the benefits of providing electronic health records to treating physicians.
