Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

New Catalog From Vaccon, Inc., a Leader in Innovative Vacuum Pumps and Accessories

MEDWAY, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/05/12 -- Vaccon, Inc., an industry leader in vacuum automation products, is pleased to announce the publication of its latest master catalog, available in print or digital format easily downloadable from Vaccon's web site (www.vaccon.com). Engineers will find more than 300 pages of Vaccon's innovative venturi vacuum pumps and accessories, designed to improve manufacturing processes, increase production, and reduce operating costs.

From easy-to-use, single-stage vacuum pumps that won't clog to more advanced end-of-arm tooling systems, Vaccon's new catalog includes air saving, all pneumatic pumps that minimize air consumption, threaded cartridges for space saving OEM applications, tamper-proof high vacuum and high flow pumps for consistent, safe operations, and high flex vacuum pump/cup assemblies ideal for handling the most uneven, irregular shaped items and surfaces.

Highlighting its philosophy of innovation through customer collaboration, each catalog section shows examples of how Vaccon can modify or custom design products to meet each customer's unique application requirements.

Vaccon's new catalog features the VP50 Series all-pneumatic venturi vacuum pump, the latest innovation in Vaccon's extensive venturi vacuum product line. Using the same air-saver technology found in many other Vaccon pumps, the VP50 Series uses a single air supply for all functions, requiring no electrical controls and is especially suited to robotic end-of-arm tooling environments where air savings, energy savings and design simplicity are important.

Available in 23 models, Vaccon's Threaded Vacuum Cartridges can be installed in tight spaces, and are ideal for the food processing, packaging, robotics, end-of-arm tooling, medical, and laboratory automation industries where they save space and minimize assembly time.

Vaccon's BV Series pumps combine the superior engineering strength and integrity of Vaccon's designed-for-dirt venturi products with the industry-leading high performance valves. Used in a wide range of manufacturing, material handling and high technology applications, the BV Series vacuum pumps offer several performance levels of vacuum flow up to 9.5 SCFM and vacuum levels up to 28" Hg (948 mbar).

Vaccon's new High Flow High Flex Assembly includes FDA-approved silicone vacuum cups for exceptional lifting power for moving objects of all shapes and sizes and are ideal for handling and sorting delicate items, such as fruits, vegetables, packaged foods, bagged items, molded parts and any object with a semi-porous or textured surface.

Based in the U.S., Vaccon is a 40-year-old, family-owned business that engineers and manufactures venturi vacuum pumps for automation, robotic and process control industries. Vaccon's single-stage vacuum pumps feature a straight-through design, with no moving parts to wear out or clog. Designed for performance, reliability and efficiency, Vaccon pumps operate maintenance-free, increasing manufacturing productivity and profitability by reducing downtime. Working in collaboration with our customers, Vaccon will modify standard products or custom design new ones to meet any size, shape, material, or performance range and at any quantity. Our vacuum technology experts provide free technical support, application assistance and innovative product solutions. Vaccon vacuum products are available through an independent distributor network throughout the U.S., around the world and on the web.
