In the article you mentioned the low power benefit, and mentioned the HP computer, as low cost solution, but I think that our product the Cubox that Costs 120$ and needs only 3 Watt of power could be another excellent solution.

FARMINGTON, Conn., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- While OLED lighting panels generate nearly $0 in revenue today, by 2020 such panels are forecast to represent a $1.7 billion market. OLED For Lighting

OLED revenue has been driven mainly by display applications (such as smartphones), but the industry has also begun targeting the lighting market based on the technology specificities, in terms of both form factor and efficiency. On this new battleground, OLED and LED technology will compete, as LED has already paved the way with a revolution in Solid State Lighting (SSL), drawing attention away from OLED over the last 10 years. The high cost of OLED technology will also delay mass market penetration, and current low efficacy could slow adoption.

OLEDs will develop slowly in the lighting market (Automotive and General lighting) and attract mainly niche applications (specialty and high-end lighting), differentiating through design possibilities. To access traditional market segments (commercial lighting, office lighting...), OLED technology will have to find a spark, as well as combine enough different niche markets to achieve the economies of scale that will decrease costs. In our estimation, this should be triggered by 2014 with the use of larger substrates and better process control.

This report from Yole Developpement estimates that OLED lighting panels will reach a market size of nearly $2.8M in 2012 but will skyrocket to nearly $1.7B by 2020. Growth will be driven mainly by General Lighting applications, representing more than 70% of the overall OLED lighting business in 2020.

The World Market for AlInGaP in Lighting - 2012 Edition

Most LED lamps and luminaires have used GaN-based LEDs, typically blue LEDs with a yellow phosphor. However, this can cause a bluish- or lower-quality white light. For higher-quality light and warmer whites, red AlInGaP LEDs have already been used as part of the solution. The important matters in this market are the main focus of this report.
