WILMINGTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/29/12 -- Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCQB: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security and defense markets, today announced it has shipped an order for approximately $6 million of the Company's Quantum Sniffer™ QS-H150 handheld explosives trace detectors and associated support to the India Ministry of Defence.

"I am proud to announce the shipment of the largest order in Implant Sciences' history. I thank our entire team for their hard work and dedication in meeting the high standards of the India Ministry of Defence," stated Implant Sciences' President and CEO, Glenn D. Bolduc. "We look forward to future opportunities as a provider of security solutions to governments around the world."

Brenda Baron, Implant Sciences' Vice President of Manufacturing and Technical Services, added, "The successful shipment of our largest order to date highlights our manufacturing strength and our capacity to fulfill large orders. Our production team performed impeccably, achieving a 100% pass rate on all acceptance testing."
