Cohn has been added to its board of directors.  Dr. Cohn is a cardiovascular surgeon and the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgical Technology at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas.  In addition, he is co-director of the Cullen Cardiovascular Research Laboratory, Associate Professor of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Houston.

A well-respected cardiovascular surgeon, Dr. Cohn is also a prolific inventor and innovator of medical devices that improve patient outcomes.  He has focused on new techniques that involve minimally invasive surgery that allow the surgeon to operate on the beating heart.  These procedures and devices minimize the risk to the patient.
