Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Jacquie Lawson Christmas Apps are Surprise Hit of the Season!

- Animated Advent Calendars top of Lifestyle chart on iPad and Kindle

LURGASHALL, England, Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A surprise hit in the iPad app charts this Christmas is the two Jacquie Lawson Advent Calendars.  Both apps are 5-star rated, and at the time of writing both are in the top 200 apps overall, as well as top of the Lifestyle charts.

Users can choose from the London Advent Calendar, featuring gorgeous Christmas scenes from the British capital, and the original Village version which set the trend back in 2010.  Both offer the same combination of beautiful artwork, entertaining little games and quirky humorous animations, unfolding gradually throughout December as the scene builds up to its climax on Christmas Day.

As well as the iPad version, there are Android versions for both Kindle Fire and Nook, and the Kindle version has also hit the top of the Lifestyle charts on Amazon.  And for PC and Mac users the range extends yet further with a brand new Alpine-themed Advent Calendar, featuring a pretty mountain village.

"Our Advent Calendars have been a huge hit on desktop PCs for several years now, but it's very exciting to see the new tablet versions doing well too," said Mike Hughes-Chamberlain, co-founder of the successful e-card company.  "We've also just released a fantastic range of new e-cards for Christmas, so we're hoping for a successful holiday season!"

The Jacquie Lawson Advent Calendar makes a wonderful early Christmas gift for friends and family, and at as little as $2.00 a copy for the PC/Mac versions, or $1.99 for the tablet versions, it's a tremendous value and a great way to share a common experience with friends and loved ones throughout the Christmas season.

About Jacquie Lawson

Jacquie Lawson lives in the small English village of Lurgashall, in West Sussex. She trained as an illustrator at St. Martin's School of Art, and has more than 20 years' experience in many areas of drawing, painting and design, including architectural perspectives, book illustration and cartoons.  She began working on e-cards in 2000, and by the following year her animations were becoming so popular that she teamed up with Mike Hughes-Chamberlain to meet the demand by creating the jacquielawson.com website.  Over the years, a select few additional artists have joined the team, and the collection of e-cards has grown to its current total of well over 200, each one showing a degree of artistry and attention to detail rarely seen in this medium.  For more information, and to see all of the available e-cards, visit www.jacquielawson.com.
