Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Poinsettia Care and Selection from Flower Delivery Express

DETROIT, Dec. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Flower Delivery Express has just released its Poinsettia Selection and Care Guide. Flower Delivery Express is one of the largest online floral delivery services in the country with delivery from coast to coast. Flower Delivery Express CEO, Wesley Berry claims that "Poinsettias are the most popular flowering plant for the Christmas season. They can be grown on to flower again next year if you know how."  Flower Delivery Express is offering a special savings on this traditional favorite just order on the web today and you can save $20 on your poinsettia purchase. Flower Delivery Express can be reached on the web at www.flowerdeliveryexpress.com.

Selecting Your Poinsettia

The Foliage on your poinsettia should be dark green.  Be sure the poinsettia is well wrapped when it is taken outside as the cold will turn the leaves yellow and the brackets to turn brown and fall.

Christmas Care

Flower Delivery Express suggests that you place your poinsettia near a sunny window yet away from drafts. Poinsettias should be kept between 60 and 70 degrees. Check the soil daily and water only when dry to the touch.  Always water poinsettias enough to soak the water to the bottom of the pot and remove any excess water.  You do not want your poinsettia to be standing in water.

Late Winter and Early Spring Care

In order to have a well shaped poinsettia for the following year Flower Delivery Express recommends cutting back the original stem of the poinsettia to 4 to 6 inches in height.  This cutting back is usually done in February or March.  Keep the poinsettia in a sunny window at temperatures between 60 and seventy degrees and water and fertilize as needed.

Late Spring and Summer Care

After the last spring frost is past and evening temperatures exceed 50 degrees it's time to plant your poinsettia outside for the summer. Sink the poinsettia in its pot into the ground, make sure you have good drainage and in a slightly shaded area.  Around the end of July cut off the terminal portion of the shoots to start additional plants.

Fall Care

Bring your poinsettia inside before the first frost and place it in a sunny window and water as before.  From the end of September until mid December keep your poinsettia in total darkness from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily.  With a little luck your poinsettia should be blooming in time for Christmas.
