Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Hobnob Announces 30% Increase in Mobile Network Service Performance

PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hobnob, Inc., a leading wireless network service provider, announced that recent technology enhancements have enabled its mobile network service to realize performance increases of at least 30%—and exceeding 50% in some cases—above previously sustainable service levels.

"We were already 40 times faster than other similar offerings in the marketplace.  Today we raised the performance standard another 30%.  If you need robust mobile network connectivity to support mission-critical responsibilities then you need Hobnob."

Hobnob's service is designed to meet the demanding needs of mobile professionals for whom flawless network connectivity is key.  The service is ideal for large enterprises that need a complete, turnkey solution to support thousands of users.  Hobnob is a popular choice for corporate shuttles where elite technical staff can work productively and uninterrupted from a moving vehicle, even if other users are streaming.

Hobnob is ideal for highly-available services on wheels—such as mobile medical clinics and emergency response command centers, to cite two examples—that require mission-critical, always-on and always-fast network connectivity.

From Aggregation to Amplification

The Hobnob advantage is rooted in the company's patent-pending technology, which aggregates multiple wireless wide-area networks (WWANs) to deliver amplified network availability and service that is without peer.  "Hobnob's amplified service provides the coverage of all carriers combined, freeing users from the limitations of a single provider," said Hall.  "This process greatly improves reliability by mitigating the risk associated with an individual carrier.  And as for performance, available bandwidth multiplies dramatically. It's a classic case of the whole being greater than the sum of its many parts."

The current release of Hobnob's amplified mobile network service is at least 30% faster than previous versions, thanks to a number of enhancements to the company's patent-pending technology.  These include capacity upgrades for back-end concentrator clusters in Silicon Valley, Virginia and New York City, as well as advances in fragmentation handling and probabilistic buffering.  "It's significant that our data centers in the New York area were knocked out of action during Hurricane Sandy, and affected customers were routed through our California data centers without any evident negative effects on their service," said Hall.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Palo Alto, California, Hobnob's customers include some of Silicon Valley's leading companies.  Hobnob's amplified mobile service is always on, always fast, and provides greater coverage than all mobile carriers combined.  Hobnob provides a fully managed hardware solution—a router that can be installed in corporate shuttles or medical clinics—that enables its network service to support hundreds of mobile users on a single vehicle. The result of this performance leadership is more than 100,000 users around the globe, from corporate shuttles in the Silicon Valley to mobile medical clinics in rural India.
