Marquee, The Star Brings New Year's Eve Glamour to Sydney

SYDNEY, Dec. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Last night Marquee - The Star, Sydney was flooded with celebrities who flocked to the harbour city to celebrate the nightclub's first New Year's Eve. Owned by the same team behind Marquee Las Vegas and New York, Sydney's star power was seriously catapulted this New Year's Eve as the Tao Group's Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss invited celebrity friends to spend New Year's Eve in the harbour city, including Chace Crawford and Matthew Morrison.

After kicking off the evening with dinner at Momofuku Seiobo, celebrity guests continued celebrations at Marquee, taking in the view of the midnight fireworks. Chace Crawford, Matthew Morrison and girlfriend Renee PuenteColton Haynes, Samantha Ronson, JC Chasez, Kyle Howard, Shawn Pyfrom, Brahman Turner and Lucas Grabeel partied into the night, with champagne flowing. Australia's former Miss Universe, Jennifer Hawkins, joined the party with fiance Jake Wall.

Revellers filled the nightclub as Grammy Award winning international DJ Dirty South performed in the Main Room, while celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson surprised party-goers by jumping on the decks in the Boom Box and partying well into the night.

The visiting celebrities all stayed at The Darling, The Star's luxury hotel.
