Expanding on the format from the successful ABC reality TV show "Shark Tank" a group of elite investors from the community of Palm Beach are coming together to try and make a deal with local startups and established companies with no limit to capital available. This is just the beginning phase of launching a series of South Florida "Shark Tank" events in the spring of 2013 at the grass roots level where entrepreneurs will have the chance to pitch their business idea to top-qualified investors. Format:

You will be allowed a 10-15 minute presentation to a panel of qualified angel investors. This can be done by using video, power-point, written display, etc .. However, you must include financial forecasts. Each presenter has the right to ask for the terms they want.

Date:

The event is scheduled to take place in Manalapan, Florida in late April, 2013 at the Ritz Carlton.

Registration:

Registration is extremely limited at a maximum of 50 Presentations. The deadline for the first round of applications will be March 15, 2013. The 50 most promising applications will be chosen to move forward to the second round where they will be required to submit the entry fee of $299 within the 48 hours of being notified advancement into the second round. This will confirm the applicants spot. If no payment is made, the spot will be offered to the next runner up. The proceeds will go to local chosen minority businesses and conference room fees to the Ritz Carlton.  You will have to sign up for your free member account to reach the application page.
