Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

TERIS Bolsters eDiscovery Capabilities with Equivio Zoom
Leading eDiscovery firm adopts Equivio's near-duplicate and email thread analytics to reduce review costs for clients

SEATTLE, Jan. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TERIS, a leading provider of litigation support services for corporate legal teams and law firms, today announced that it is using Equivio Zoom's advanced analytics as an integrated component of its eDiscovery services offering. This best-of-breed near-duplicates and email threads solution allows TERIS to streamline the processing of electronic data and drive down overall litigation costs for its clients.

"The adoption of Equivio's proven e-discovery analytics technologies further enhances the value we bring to our clients," said Peter Sternkopf, Chief Technology Officer at TERIS. "Using Equivio as part of our eDiscovery workflow allows us to maximize accuracy and efficiency in the processing of huge collections of electronic data. Zoom reduces the number of documents that need to be reviewed by attorneys, resulting in major cost savings for our clients."

The grouping of near-duplicates and email threads allows attorneys to skip redundant data, while focusing exclusively on the unique information in each document. By enhancing the ease of data identification, Equivio reduces the risk of missing key information. The Equivio groupings also ensure similar documents are treated consistently, while increasing review productivity and helping litigators meet tight deadlines. Near-Duplicates and Email Threads are key analytics components within Zoom, Equivio's e-discovery platform for predictive coding and analytics.

"Corporate legal departments and law firms require sophisticated analytical tools to help them cut through redundant data, find relevant documents, and shrink review volumes," said Amir Milo, CEO of Equivio. "By integrating Equivio Zoom technology within its existing eDiscovery workflow, TERIS is able to reduce review time and costs for its clients, without sacrificing defensibility."
