Rackspace Taps Top CMO To Help with Doubling Down on Hybrid Cloud
Jackson will lead global marketing strategy as Rackspace works to strengthen its leadership position around hybrid cloud

"As we continue to leverage our heritage in OpenStack and capitalize upon our strong leadership position within the hybrid cloud marketplace, it is crucial that we continue to build our brand and reputation worldwide at a faster rate than ever," said Rackspace President Lew Moorman as Rackspace Hosting today announced that IT industry veteran Rick Jackson had already since July 1 joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
He bring to Rackspace over 25 years of IT industry experience, having served most recently as CMO at VMware, where since early 2009 he had been responsible for leading the company's global marketing strategy.
