In regards to the additional products, we have a skin installed and we have a product that we had custom developed for us that connects to a PostgreSQL database. We've looked at slow PostgreSQL queries causing problems and have not been able to find an issue. We've also tested for the case where the PostgreSQL server is down and have not been able to create an issue. We therefor...

Revamped Canada411.ca-Canada's Number One Online Directory-Now Making it Easier to Find a Person

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 10/20/08 -- Canada411.ca(TM), Canada's preferred website for finding people, now has a more user friendly interface, enabling visitors to locate individuals more easily and quickly. With only two search boxes incorporated into its home page, the online directory also offers popular mapping and driving directions functions.

"We recognize how much Canadians appreciate our site, and we are committed to continuously improving it in order to meet their expectations," underlines Jean-Pascal Lion, Yellow Pages Group's Vice-President of Marketing. "By adding the latest web technologies, we are confident that Canada411.ca will continue to serve as the prime reference site for finding people in Canada."

A first step in that direction was to secure YPG's ownership of the Canada411 trademark. The company completed the purchase of the Canada411 trademark in May. For several years, YPG has owned and managed the high-profile URL. As the new owner, YPG can further develop the site while aligning it more closely with the Yellow Pages(TM) brand.

The integration of the YellowPages.ca(TM) database with that of Canada411.ca enables users to obtain even more complete results. For example, in addition to featuring residential listings, a new window presents a list of businesses located close to the selected residential address. If searching for a person on Canada411.ca does not yield any results, the site will automatically search theYellowPages.ca(TM) database for a match.

To address users' requests for more interactive tools, new features have recently been added to Canada411.ca. The mapping capability notably facilitates the search for people in given locations. Furthermore, thanks to the "Save" and the "Share" functions i.e. add to Facebook®, send to a friend, etc., it is possible to readily manage and reuse the information obtained.

During August 2008, Yellow Pages Group's network of websites that includes Canada411.ca(TM) and YellowPages.ca(TM) reached more than 9 million unique visitors (Source: comScore Media Metrix). These online directories contain some 12 million residential telephone entries and 2.4 million commercial listings.
