![]() Wireless News Desk DeviceAnywhere Extends Google Android G1 Handset Access to Developers Worldwide
Developers can build and test apps directly from any location
Jan. 8, 2009 08:00 AM
Using DeviceAnywhere to test, monitor, and develop for the Android G1, users from anywhere in the world are now able to interact with the G1 as they would if the device were in their hands. This includes interacting with the device's touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard, using the one-click Google Search feature, and accessing the device's high-speed 3.5G network connection and 3.2-megapixel camera. DeviceAnywhere is an online service providing access to mobile handsets that are each connected to live networks. These devices are accessible remotely over the Internet, allowing users to interact in real time to ensure all development, porting, testing, and monitoring needs are met. The DeviceAnywhere service uses physical handsets to provide developers with the same experiences as having the devices in hand. Additional DeviceAnywhere features - including monitoring and test automation - are also available on the Android G1. Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
