ShopAtHomeSelect.com Joins Relief Efforts to Help Victims of Hurricane Katrina

Digg This!

DENVER, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- ShopAtHomeSelect.com, the nation's leading consumer cash back rebate web site, announced Thursday, September 1st, that it would be contributing 5% of its revenue thru September 15th, to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, as well as matching all employee contributions.

"Like everyone else who has seen the devastation brought on by this unfortunate event, you can't help but feel compelled to do something to help," said Marc Braunstein, President of Belcaro Group, parent company of ShopAtHomeSelect.com. "Our hearts go out to every person along the entire Gulf Coast, and we hope that our contribution will help bring even a small measure of relief, as they go through, what I'm sure will be, a very difficult time."

While the outpouring of support for those affected by Hurricane Katrina has been swift and overwhelming, Braunstein, like most people, knows that getting things back to some state of normalcy will be a long, uphill struggle.

"Each of us helps in any way we can. By notifying our millions of consumers of this contribution opportunity, we anticipate being able to make a substantial donation to this relief effort. While money is not the total solution, it can help to ease the burden."

Braunstein is personally calling his suppliers to encourage them to join the growing numbers of companies that care, in order to maximize the amount of the contribution, and make a true and lasting difference in the lives of the unfortunate victims of this catastrophic event.

Belcaro Group's contribution will be donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
